Earth Roots brings together the work of partners committed to supporting and developing leadership for a sustainable Nova Scotia. We offer experiential learning opportunities that foster environmental stewardship, social responsibility and active, healthy lifestyles.

We believe that each of us needs to grow roots to the earth – appreciating, understanding and acting for each other, our communities and the planet. These are basic skills in the 21st century.

Our programs and opportunities take a positive, values-building approach. We use exciting, active experiences in the natural world that are filled with magic and adventure as the foundation for developing appreciation, understanding, and acting. These experiences become a springboard for activities and reflection back at home, school or work that facilitate healthy lifestyles and sustainable communities.
