Alien Safari: A Taylor Head Adventure
Distance: 3.9 km returnApprox. Time: 4 hr
Trail Description
View in Google Maps
Enjoy spectacular coastal scenery. This is a beautiful loop trail, though long for younger children. It goes along sand and cobble beaches and through a spruce forest and old fields. Bring a camera and binoculars if you have them. This is a full day and it’s best to go in the morning. Plan a good snack or lunch halfway through and spend time on the beach afterward. Bring sunscreen, a hat, good walking shoes for rocky terrain and appropriate clothes (it’s windy and cool here even in summer).
The Adventure
Head off on an Alien Safari...
You are an alien from the planet Blicktar about to beam down to Earth from your space ship. You're on a safari scouting out this strange blue and green planet for interesting life forms. Record evidence of them for your official Blictar safari report. Describe any strange creatures and their weird habits.
